Justin's Education & Experience

Justin brings a uniquely rich background to his counseling practice, one grounded in faith, military service, and rigorous clinical training. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Religion and Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. He also holds a Master of Theology earned from Dallas Theological Seminary. He is an NBCC board-certified Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (#99973) in the state of Texas, practicing under the supervision of Carrie Allen, PhD, LPC-S.

With over a decade of pastoral ministry experience, Justin recognized the deep connection between spiritual well-being and mental health. This calling led him to pursue evidence-based clinical training, equipping him to treat a wide range of mental health challenges through traditional psychotherapy or faith-integrated counseling, with the approach always tailored to what fits each client best.

Justin also served seven years on active duty in the U.S. Army, living abroad for many years. This service gives him a firsthand understanding of military life and the unique challenges veterans and their families face. Following his graduate internship, he went on to serve as a Primary Therapist at a partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient (PHP/IOP) facility, providing both individual and group therapy to clients navigating serious mental health challenges.

Whether you are seeking faith-based support, working through the dynamics or aftermath of military service, or navigating a complex mental health journey, Justin is equipped to walk alongside you.
