Mariah's Education & Experience

Mariah holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Licensed Professional Counseling from Liberty University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor in the state of Texas (#80090), a distinguished credential that authorizes her to supervise and mentor other licensed counselors in training, and a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the state of Utah (#11751015-6004).

With over eight years of clinical experience, Mariah's practice is rooted in trauma-informed care and neurodivergence support. She is EMDR Certified, a highly effective, evidence-based therapy that helps clients process and heal from trauma, anxiety, PTSD, and other distressing life experiences. She is also a Certified Autplay Provider, a specialized therapeutic approach designed to support the emotional, social, and behavioral needs of autistic and neurodivergent children and adolescents through the natural language of play. Together, these certifications allow Mariah to provide targeted, compassionate care for children, adolescents, and adults navigating some of life's most complex challenges.

Mariah's life experience runs as deep as her clinical training. As a military spouse, she lived abroad for many years, working alongside people from diverse cultures and serving children in underserved and marginalized communities. This global perspective has shaped her into a counselor who truly meets people where they are, across backgrounds, experiences, and walks of life.

Mariah has also provided numerous trainings and conferences for parents and couples, equipping families with the tools they need to strengthen relationships and navigate the challenges of parenting.
